 21st June 2005 - SurfGem Version 3.3 released
- New Features
- Added ability to change Note icon
- Export bookmarks to HTML - added option to export all folders
- Export bookmarks to HTML - added more templates to include thumbnail images
- Added status bar icons to quickly show/hide panels
- Right click on toolbars to show captions or change size of icon to small or large
- Improvements
- Change theme system to GemX Theme Interface (GTI) which provides better resource management than previous theme engine.
- Status bar increased to allow extra textual data
- Cosmetic improvements to some icons and splash
- Navigator tabs can be dragged to different toolbars conserve space
- Reduced size of GemX logo area so it uses less space
- Other minor cosmetic improvements.

24th February 2004 - SurfGem Version 3.1 released
- New Features
- Added new Startup Mode wizard for easy switching between Bookmark Manager and Browser mode.
- Added user-friendly tabs to access Navigator, Search and Notes.
- Added powerful Search facility. Ability to search any field, any words, all words or exact phrase.
- Added custom themes support. Visual Styles (msstyles) can be loaded and used. You can get
many Visual Style themes from www.themexp.org
- Added "Minimize to tray" and "Roll Up/Down" to the system menu (accessed by right-clicking on the caption bar).
- Added 120 more hot site icons.
- Added external browser search priority in settings for when launching bookmarks, it
first searches for an available currently running browser.
- Improvements
- Toolbars, Page Tabs and Address bar can now be dragged into different positions.

10th November 2003 - SurfGem Version 3.0 released
- New Features
- Added internal Multi-Tabbed Web Browser. So you can surf the web without
opening a different browser application.
- Added Notes section for collected text, URLs, email addresses and images.
- Added URL publishing, so you may create HTML files from a list of bookmarks. This is
template based, so, if you are able to edit HTML, you can easily define you own layout.
- Added Link Checking to verify the existance of URLs.
- Added Bath File Download for quick downloading of linked files from a web page into a single file folder.

- Minor fixes.
10th November 2003 - BookmarkHit 2.2
- BookmarkHit 2.2 no longer continues under it's name. It has a new name change - "SurfGem".
