How do I become an affiliate of GemX?

Does it cost anything to join?

There are no fees of any kind for applying and being a GemX affiliate. There is no minimum sales requirement or sales quota you must reach before earning referral fees with our program. You can start earning right away.

Does my Web site qualify for the GemX Affiliation Program?

Most Web sites will qualify to participate in the program; however, we may reject Web sites that we determine are unsuitable. Examples of sites that would NOT qualify for participation include:

• Sites that promote sexually explicit material
• Sites that promote violence
• Sites that promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, national origin, physical disability, sexual orientation, or age
• Sites that promote illegal activities
• Sites that violate intellectual property rights

Can I participate if I live outside the USA?

Yes. We accept all participants, it doesn't matter which country you are based in.

Can I apply to the Resellers Program more than once?

We will only accept one application per individual or company. You may find it easier for yourself to manage by only having one registration.

I have more than one URL. Can I register all of them as GemX Resellers?

You may place your special affiliation URL product links on as many URLs as you want. You don't need to register each URL where you want to place the products. However, if you want to place the links on completely different domains, then we would like to know about them to see if they adhere to the operating agreement.

I don't have a Web site yet. Can I still apply to be an affiliate with GemX?

You must have at least one operating web site before you can register to become an affiliate.

Am I able to sell other GemX services on my site?

Can I take the order on my Web site and just send the customer and order information to GemX.com?

Orders must be taken and processed by the secure payment processor, SWReg. You may not collect purchase information yourself. Your affiliation will be canceled if you attempt to do this.

How does GemX track members coming from my Web site?

The links we provide you for your web site will contain a special affiliate code which tracks the purchase and credits you with the sale upon payment clearance (you will not be credited if the customer doesn't buy the product).

How can I keep track of how many people I send to GemX?

How much will I earn for each sale?

We pay 60% of the gross amount on each sale that is attributed to your affiliation.

When and how do I get paid?

Payments are sent out using the services of PayPal every first half of each consecutive month.

How do I get GemX banners, artwork and text links?

Once you become a GemX affiliate you will be provided with login details to obtain any necessary artwork and product banners from within the login area. You may also get the URL links from inside your login area. You must register and be an accepted affiliate before you can access the artwork and link details.

How can I download graphics and logos for my Web site?

If you are an approved GemX affiliate, then first go to the artwork page of the relevant product, found in the GemX Login area, then choose which graphics and logos you want to place on your site. Right Click on the graphic image and save it to your hard disk. Place it in your web page, assign a link to the image, and upload it to your site. You are NOT allowed to link directly to the images on our server. If you do this, we will cancel your affiliation and you will forfeit your earnings.

May I link to GemX from more than one Web site?

Yes, of course. The more links you have, the more chances of making sales, as a result - earning more money.

Can I promote GemX Software?

Of course, as long as your web site doesn't fall into one or more of the following categories;

• Sites that promote sexually explicit material
• Sites that promote violence
• Sites that promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, national origin, physical disability, sexual orientation, or age
• Sites that promote illegal activities
• Sites that violate intellectual property rights

Will my visitors require to register for GemX membership?

Your visitors don't need to register or join any kind of membership to purchase GemX software products.

How can I change my affiliate account information?

How should I design my Web site?

You may design your web site as you like. Take a look at this site and notice the easy of use and intuitive interface. We would suggest you also do the same or similar.

Customers will always return if your web site is easy to use, clear, concise and most of all - honest. Avoid filling the web page with adverts, use information instead.

Can I change or personalize the images provided by GemX?

You may not change or alter the artwork in any way. If you require changes to any graphics, please inform us. Subject to your site status, we may be able to accommodate your request.

Can I use GemX in my URL or in the name of my site?

You may use the term "GemX" only in the context of promoting or selling GemX software applications.

What kind of advertising can I do?

You may choose to do any kind of advertising accept for spamming (see below).

What kind of advertising is prohibited?

You may not do any kind of spamming. We don't tolerate spammers. If we find you are sending unsolicited e-mails, we will cancel your affiliation and you will forfeit earnings.

Can I do press releases or other kind of announcements regarding my affiliation with GemX?
