Rein In The Bits & Pieces With TexNotes 3.62

just sent you an e-mail asking for a copy of a client's
original comments regarding some custom enhancements to your

Enter TexNotes 3.62, Feature rich text editor, notes
organizer and document publisher developed by GemX. A handy

Added new features
*Minimize instead of close" to settings. If ticked, then
TexNotes will minimize instead of closing. Closing and
exiting can be done from the File menu or the System Tray
menu.
*More keyboard shortcuts for the following operations
*Export multiple notes into one file. There are options to
selectively choose the file format and which notes to export
with option to separate each note with a divider and/or note
title.
*Option in View menu to show/hide special characters for
spaces and paragraphs
*Auto-select words when marking from the start of characters
(like MS Word).
*Editor Drag and Drop text/images within the same page.
*Ability to drag multiple image or text files into a note.
*Added Localization. The whole User Interface is contained
in a single text file.
*Resize images with the mouse.
*"Restore Image Size" when you right click on an image.
*"Word Count of the Selected Text" facility
*Export multiple notes to individual files as TXT, RTF, HTML
*Print/preview multiple notes, organized with an optional
separator, with a single command
*Import a table of CSV data directly into a note
*Convert an existing Notebook into an editable note and
define new NoteBooks like editable Notes
*Auto save a TexNotes file when you minimize
*Search and replace in the current note
*Set the background color for all or selected notes with a
single command
*Triple-click to select a paragraph. Single-click in the
left margin to select a line
*Convert selected numbers to Roman numerals and vice versa
*Select search results in Navigator so that user can print,
export, delete, and manage selected notes from advanced
search results

Improvements
*RTF import, especially with external/embedded images. HTML
export, especially with RTF like tables.
*Automatic URL and Email address detection
*Pressing ENTER key in an empty bulleted/numbered paragraph
removes bullet/numbering.
*Save to HTML conforms more to the "HTML 4.01 Transitional"
standard, ( reference: http://validator.w3.org/ )
*Table layout algorithm: handles wide merged cells smarter.
*XP theme handling.
*Hyperlinks (launching and long URLs).
*Advanced search improved to include an option to search the
whole TEX file.
*Advanced Search now expands all the results automatically
after a search.
*If TexNotes comes across a corrupted note, then the text is
inserted as plain text, rather than displaying an error
message and not returning anything.
*Drag-and-drop importing from Windows Explorer.
*URL/E-mail detection.
*Speed of advanced searches

define a wide range of formatting and workspace settings on
a note-by-note, file-by-file basis or as global defaults
set calendar reminders for one-time-only and recurring
events
assign alarms and sound files to your reminders so that they
really get your attention

On a larger scale, TexNotes not only reduces the clutter of
sticky notes and notepads that often litter our desks, it
also reduces the amount of paper and ink that eventually
winds up in our landfills  an important consideration for
those concerned about the depletion of our natural
resources. For the especially cost-conscious, the program
can reduce expenditures for pens, paper, and printer ink
cartridges.

display adapter, and a minimum screen resolution of 800x600
